In a panel chaired by Euline Cutrim Schmid, Sanderin van Hazebrouck presented some findings of the research she conducted for her M.A. dissertation. The title of the presentation was: "Learners' and Teacher's Perceptions Regarding the Use of the Interactive Whiteboard as a Tool to Meet the Needs of Learners with Diverse Learning Styles". In this presentation Sanderin van Hazebrouck illustrated how the IWB technology can be exploited to cater for students with diverse multiple intelligence profiles in the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. Concrete examples of interactions which are produced when using the IWB to meet the needs of learners with diverse learning styles were demonstrated. The presenter also referred to the criteria for design, evaluation and implementation of IWB-based materials put forward by the iTILT project in the training handbook. The attendees of the presentation who showed interest in the ITILT project could use the distributed flyers to obtain more information on the project.
