This video shows an EFL class focusing on the categorization of the linkers. The teacher shows a group of linkers with a three column table on the IWB. The categories are coordinate and subordinate conjunctions, and adverbials. In the activity learners are expected to classify the given linkers into these categories. The IWB feature used is drag and drop.

It was the last section of the class and I wanted my learners to understand the grammatical traits of the linkers because it is also important to use the punctuation marks correctly. In other words, you should know the linkers in order to use punctuation correctly.
