Verbs - Grammar - Drag and Drop

Uploaded by Serkan Çelik, Bilkent University (Turkey)

This clip takes place in a low level EFL class. The teacher focuses on various phrasal verbs which may be problematic for non-native English learners. Learners’ mother tongue is mainly Turkish. After explaining the requirement for the activity, the teacher asks learners to come to the board and match the phrasal verbs with the definitions. Then, learners drag the words to the correct line of the definitions.

Phrasal verbs have been a challenge for my EFL learners. I tried to make the lesson a lit bit more dynamic by using the IWB.
