Bristol - Presentations - Hide and Reveal with the Magic Ink

This clip shows a group of lower intermediate English learners giving a presentation on a tourist attraction in Bristol. The learners used the magic ink tool to slowly reveal the picture behind the layer of black ink. The learners had time to prepare their presentation and practice it on the IWB beforehand.

Für den Anfang ist es gut, dass sie nur präsentieren, da sie noch nicht die Skills haben eine digitale Präsentation selbst zu erstellen, aber es ist nur eine Vorbereitung und das ist jetzt wirklich das Richtige für die Schüler.

For the start it was good that the learners only presented the pictures since they do not have the skills to create a digital presentation yet. It was only a preparation and that was exactly what the learners needed.

Schüler 4: Also ich fand heute auch nichts zu kompliziert. Es war alles eigentlich gut. Wie wir die Bilder auch erraten mussten, also das mit dem Zauberstab (Interviewer: Magic Ink) war am Anfang etwas kompliziert, weil man nicht auf Anhieb sehen konnte, was für ein Bild das war oder in welcher Stadt das ist.

Learner 4: I don't think the lesson was complicated. It was actually really good. It was a little bit difficult when they used the magic ink tool and we had to guess the picture since you couldn't see it.

Schüler 2: Ich fand es am besten, dass wir bei den Präsentationen auch alle Funktionen nutzen durften die das Whiteboard zu bieten hat.

Learner 2: I liked that we were allowed to use all the tools of the IWB during our presentation.
