Bristol - Learner Oral Presentations - Use of EraserUploaded by Sanderin van Hazebrouck, Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg (Germany)
In this excerpt you can see a group of young learners giving a short presentation of a statue in Bristol, UK. They had the chance to practice on the IWB with the teacher and they chose to use the eraser tool to reveal the name, date of birth and of death and the profession of the famous person who is hidden behind a layer of ink. All learners had the chance to write down notes and practice their presentations as well as the use of the IWB tools.
The visual support from the IWB was well recieved by all learners.

This group does not only involve the whole class but also uses the IWB and the picture as an introduction for their presentation. One learner creates tension by using the tools of the IWB and the picture as it was intended.
Learner 1: The new tools we learned were really great.
Learner 2: I also liked the new tools and that we learned more interesting facts about how to design and organize our presentations and topics.
