Teacher comment

I think the memory game is fun for learners, especially the girl who won; she was happy. It was a sense of achievment for her. I was really surprised that all learners participated, even after it seemed to be dragging on after a while. They still tried to help out their classmates.

Learner comments

I liked the memory game best, because you could match the pictures and the text. Sometimes it was even funny when two things did not match.

I liked the memory game best because it was a lot of fun.

I liked the memory game the most because I found it the most appealing. I thought it was interesting that you can click on it and move it instead of just writing down things.

I like the idea since the information is linked to an image, especially the cultural aspect. The learners have learned quite a lot. It was basically a cultural studies lesson and not focused on language.
