Bristol presentations - introducing the IWB tools to the learners

Description

This clip shows the teacher introducing the IWB tools to his learners. The young learners (lower secondary) of English are supposed to give small presentations on sights or famous things of Bristol, UK. The learners have had a whole teaching unit on Bristol and already researched the different sights and landmarks.

Also der Einstieg ist ja doch gut gelungen und ich denke, es ist gut, wenn man kompakt die Bilder am Anfang zeigt. So können alle schon sehen welche Bilder in der Stunde drankommen und was auch die anderen Gruppen bearbeiten werden. Außerdem werden die Informationen über die Sites in Bristol auch wieder ins Gedächtnis gerufen. Und während sie das wieder ins Gedächtnis rufen, erkennen sie welche Tools sie selbst später bei ihren Präsentationen benutzen können, um sich dann auch zu entscheiden. 

The introductory phase was really good. I think it was a good idea to show all the pictures in the beginning of the lesson, so the learners knew which pictures were presented by the other groups. They also had a chance to activate their preknowledge and decide which tools they wanted to use for their presentation.

We have learned more things that we can do on the IWB, more tools and functions.
