Special needs primary learners of English in France (aged 7-11) are revising autumn vocabulary by selecting and circling pictures related to the season of autumn and recalling the English words. The teacher uses the board to scaffold the learners' selections, and one learner in the group helps those at the board to recall the word "mushroom."

To reuse the vocabulary of autumn. Because each time they circle I ask them to try to give the good words. So the leaves.
And for them, it's in relation with nature and I think they have to know about the seasons, even in French. Because most of them don't make the difference. With the colors of the leaves, with the seasons, and the elements that show the seasons.
They are active, it's not me. [...] Active. And because they are showing at the same time and they are listening at the same time.
She is doing. Because she is choosing , the others said "no it's that" and so they can communicate. It's the same than with the over exercise, the last exercise. They communicate and they are in an interactivity between them.
[We use the interactive whiteboard] for reading [in French] I like English with the board best. We use the pen more, we do videos.
