The iTILT project is being presented at the whiteboard conference in Jena, Germany from September 1st to 3rd by Sanderin van Hazebrouck from the Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg.

This year’s edition of the AILA (International Association of Applied Linguistics) conference in Beijing (China) attracted about 1500 participants. On August 24th I presented a paper entitled “The development of language teachers’ expertise in exploiting the interactive whiteboard towards a socio-cognitive approach to computer-assisted language learning”. The paper focused on the research findings of a longitudinal study with 7 EFL teachers, as they integrated the IWB into their practice in German secondary/vocational schools.
